Flat Tire
There are several options to get you back on the road :
Put on your spare tire . . . don’t worry, if it needs air we can inflate it. But have the wheel lock security key ready, if your car has one. [ Note ]
No Spare ? The bad tire can be removed, car left on jack stand and bad tire taken to tire store for repair or replacement. Then return with good tire and install it. [ Pic ]
The puncture can be plugged ~ a simple puncture in the tread of the tire can be plugged, if the flat tire has not been driven on. [ More Info ]
If the valve stem is leaking air, an emergency valve stem can be installed then the tire reinflated.
