Tire Pressure
In brief, the proper and safe tire pressure is determined by the Car manufacture, not by the tire manufacture.
This makes sense because the tire manufacture does not know how the tire will be used, nor what load it will be under.
The car manufacture put a tire pressure sticker in the door jam of the drivers door ( though some European cars have this sticker under the gas door. ) ~ See Pic ~ Use the pressure info on that sticker to properly inflate your car tires.
There is a Max Pressure on the tire itself ~ do not inflate to that pressure ~ it will most certainly be too high.
A quick word about DONUT Spare Tires ~ they are often inflated to 60 PSI which is higher than the pressure used in a normal car tire. Refer to the sticker on your car . . . it’s very important that your DONUT be inflated to the correct pressure !
