More Car Battery Info
While onsite to Jump Start the battery, two tests are done for free.
The voltage of the battery is measured before starting the car. While not as good as Advanced Battery Diags ~ this voltage measurement does give some indication of battery health.
Secondly, once the engine is running, the voltage is measured again. This voltage is an indicator of Alternator health and function ~ that is, it’s ability to charge the battery. ( Again Advanced Diags are better, but this voltage measurement is informative. )
